STUDENTS:

If you get caught violating copyright, you will face punishment from the University. The University has quotas of students that they must steal from, so they will ignore facts and treat you as guilty even before any hearings take place. I would know; UMBC stole $100 from me for getting what was rightfully mine.

Your identity can be found on P2P systems because they use an IP address to map to your computer. These are unsafe. I am currently developing a P2P system called OnionPirate that uses the completely anonymous Tor network, which uses encrpytion, advanced routing schemes, and NO IP's to keep your identity safe. OnionPirate is being designed from the ground up to be completly solid. It should be ready for deployment next semester for all UMBC students.
